Introduction  


Deloitte & Touche LLP has been appointed by the Courts as the Administrator of the Canadian Vitamins Class Actions National Settlements (the "Settlement").

Direct Purchasers and Distributors of Vitamins in Canada who purchased and took delivery of Vitamins in Canada, who register a Claim and submit any required supporting documentation by the November 5, 2005 Claims Deadline and who are determined to be eligible, will receive direct compensation under this Settlement. Please refer to the FAQ section of this website for further information. Purchasers of methionine should be sure to read the specific FAQ concerning that Vitamin.

Consumers and Intermediate Purchasers will be indirectly compensated under this Settlement by payments made on their behalf to educational and charitable organizations for vitamins related research, food-aid programs and consumer advocacy. Consumers and Intermediate Purchasers will not receive direct compensation under this Settlement and should not register a Claim. Please refer to the FAQ section of this website for further information.

Please note:

  • The deadline to register Direct Purchaser and Distributor Claims has passed. Consequently, it is no longer possible to file a claim for compensation.
  • The interim distribution has been made to most Direct Purchaser Fund Claimants, as ordered, by the Court. The orders of the Court may be reviewed for details of this Interim Distribution. Click here to reach the Document Page of this web site where you may download the orders.
  • The deadline to file a Notice of Dispute has passed.
